Dos Bambinos are growing big and doing well. 20 months old and healthy as we could possibly imagine. I am so incredibly happy to say that we have found our happiness again. Loving our little family!

Hospitalized
Well, I got through with my Shower and then that Thursday, I was admitted for PIH (Pregnancy Induced Hypertension). So I have been in this same room since 1/24. So far things are going well. I haven't updated like I should, but I decided to start a facebook page to do updates because it seems easier and my husband can update, too.

The "Little Men" Shower
Today my Sisters and Mom threw a fantastic "Little Men" Shower for me and the boys. It was fantastic. Tons of family and friends showed up to the Tuscan Hills Winery to celebrate the upcoming arrivals. Yes. My baby shower was at a Winery. I figured if I couldn't drink, at least everyone else should be able to :)
We feel so fortunate to have such wonderful people in our lives. To say we were overwhelmed, would be an understatement. After opening the gifts, I stood to thank all of my guests and completely broke down. These people have been there for us since day 1 and it was so absolutely heart-filling to be able to thank them for being there for us from Sophia to this day. I am so incredibly blessed to be where I am today. More pictures to come!

28w5d Update
Dos
Bambinos Update: The little guys are measuring at 2.8 and 2.9 lbs. BP
starting to crawl up, but it is being watched. Swelling in the feet and
ankles came back when I went back to work this week, so that stinks.
Appts. every Friday from here on out. First NST this week and Shower next Sunday. This week also marks the gestation we lost Sophia, so if we can get through to Sunday, we will be farther along than ever before. Might be a complete headcase this week, so forgive me.
29 weeks Sunday!

A New Year
This year we start with a bambino update. The boys are measuring 1lb 14 oz. and 2lb 4 oz. respectively. I have 4 lbs of baby in me and I can't tell you how happy that makes me. Everything is looking good. My pre-e panels are coming back normal. Growth scans are coming back with them measuring in the 51st and 77th percentile. Blood pressure is holding, but starting to creep up, but I am already at 26w2d.
Last night we were at a party, and I can't tell you how many times I got asked if I felt left out. My true answer was no. I felt so incredibly happy to sit their with my grape juice or water and feel my boys bouncing all around.
This year could mean some very good things for us. I am determined not to leave the hospital empty handed this time. Shower is coming up and good things are on the way. I can feel it. Happy New Year!!

Follow-up
Follow-up
to bad MFM appt: Office manager called today and apologized profusely.
She reassured me that I would not have to see that woman again and that
there is no excuse for a Dr, let alone a MFM, to call a baby damaged.
She also hinted that this Dr would not be invited back to the facility,
as she is being brought in from the East Coast to help out with the
large caseload.
I was in tears after the call, but it was
because I felt like I actually mattered this time and that my boys would
be taken care of. One day at a time....
